Garry Longe is doing his first presentation of images in 30 years at GCTV. Garry particularly liks capturing water and sky due to the calming nature of each element. He tends to try to capture the feeling of these spaces so he can relive the experience in his own home. On Thursday, February 25th, at 5:30PM, in the hall outside Oncology, on the main floor of the hospital, BFMC will host a reception/open house for photographers contributing to the new exhibit, Summertide Revery.  The exhibition features photographs depicting treasured summer indulgences, as a distraction from the winter and a reminder of the joys in the coming season, that were taken by 20 members of the Base Camp Photo Adventures in the Pioneer Valley and Beyond MeetUp group.  This event is free and open to the public, with light refreshments available and many of the photographers on hand.  The exhibit will be on display through April.
