The Nolumbeka Project presents a Native American Social Dance and Stomp Dance, Saturday, February 1, 2020. Filmed at Greenfield Community College, Cohn Dining Room, 1 College Drive, Greenfield, MA.

A rare opportunity to learn and participate in Northeastern Woodlands Native social dances, led by Annawon Weeden, Mashpee Wampanoag, Congressional award honoree as culture-bearer for the Northeast and James Moreis, Aquinnah Wampanoag, father and culture bearer. Opening words by Chief Roger Longtoe Sheehan, Elnu Abenaki.


Rescheduled 1 Billion Rising Events to Take Place Friday

The Visioning Justice Rising collaborative has rescheduled the "One Billion Rising" event (that was to have happened on Valentine's Day but was canceled due to the snow) for this Friday, February 28th, 2014, at Greenfield Community College (GCC).  There will be drumming, dancing, art making, and more in the interest of empowering females and raising awareness about violence against women.
