Beat the Summer Blahs, Make a Movie!

The Wealth and Sustainability Paradox

From an Inner Fortune press release:

Money. Environmental sustainability. With the current economic woes rocking our country and the global economy, and the approaching threat of global warming related catastrophes, these two themes seem more pressing now than ever before. Finding the proper balance between monetary prosperity and environmental and social responsibility may seem like an impossibility. Through a carefully constructed free two-hour workshop offered by Inner Fortune, and held at the Jones Library (43 Amity St., Amherst, MA 01002) at 7PM on March 19, participants will examine the role that these two desires play in their own lives, and work to find an ideal balance between the two.

GCTV's Money Doctor on the Radio

“The Money Doctor”, with Frances Rahaim, Ph. D., is a brand new personal finance show that will premiere on Cable Channel 15 next week. The program will feature Dr. Rahaim interviewing people she helped to get out of debt and interviews with local businesses covering a wide variety of helpful topics.  In preparation for her TV debut, today Dr. Rahaim was featured live on Bear Country 95.3’s “Bear in the Morning” show with Kevin Collins.  No stranger to radio, having been doing her own show in that medium for quite a while, her conversation with Kevin focused on all things local, highlighting the best in our area, including many compliments directed at GCTV.

If you missed that interview, be sure to tune in to “The Valley’s Morning Show”, on 98.3 WHAI, on Monday when Dr. Rahaim will be dispensing advice, and talking about her new show, with host Jay Fidanza, sometime between 7:45 and 8:45am.
