FRTA Offers Rides to the Polls 9/6

If you, or someone you know, need help getting to Greenfield High School on Thursday in order to vote, the Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) can help.  The town has once again contracted with the FRTA to provide rides to the polls.  Check out the complete schedule here.

The Daily Hampshire Gazette, the Northampton Democratic City Committee, WHMP, NCTV, and Northampton Media will be co-sponsoring a Candidates Night on Monday, August 27, 2012 at the JFK Middle School in Florence from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.  Candidates for the office of Governor’s Council and Hampshire County Register of Deeds, regardless of political affiliation, have been invited and will be present to answer questions from panelists as well as the community.  Though Franklin County voters have their own Register of Deeds race, the Governor's Council candidates will be on the September 6th Primary ballots in Greenfield.  You can watch this event live by clicking on the "Read More" link.

The Town Clerk’s office of Greenfield advises residents that the last day to register to vote or change their address for the State Primary Election scheduled for Thursday, September 6, 2012, will be Friday, August 17, 2012.   The Town Clerk’s Office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on that date.

Voter Registration Deadline for 6/2/12 Town Election

The Greenfield Town Clerk’s office advises residents that the last day to register to vote or change their address for the Town Election will be Wednesday, May 23, 2012.   The Town Clerk’s Office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on that date.  For further information call the Town Clerk’s Office at 772-1555 x 112.
