Child Advocacy Center Grand Opening Friday

The public is invited to the Grand Opening of the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) of Franklin County & the North Quabbin Region on Friday, April 29th, from 3PM to 6PM.  The CAC serves children who are suspected of having been abused and it is a comfortable setting where they can be forensically interviewed and medically examined in a non-threatening manner.  Area contractors and artists volunteered hundreds of hours to transform an old house into this beautiful center serving Franklin County’s youngest citizens.

Art, music, wildlife, the Great Falls Discovery Center in Turners Falls has it all!  This month's highlights include a performance by internationally acclaimed folk band Windbourne and a spring birding walk.  All programs at the center are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted, and the facilities are accessible.
