Child Advocacy Center Grand Opening Friday

The public is invited to the Grand Opening of the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) of Franklin County & the North Quabbin Region on Friday, April 29th, from 3PM to 6PM.  The CAC serves children who are suspected of having been abused and it is a comfortable setting where they can be forensically interviewed and medically examined in a non-threatening manner.  Area contractors and artists volunteered hundreds of hours to transform an old house into this beautiful center serving Franklin County’s youngest citizens.

Spring is on its way!  Not sure?  As part of the Early Signs of Spring children's program at the Great Falls Discovery Center, on Saturday, March 28th, your kids can search high and low, with Janel Nockleby, for signs of its arrival.  There will be stories, activities, and crafts for children ages 3 to 6, with a parent or guardian present, but siblings and friends are welcome too.
