Biking for Buddies 2016

Please join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Franklin County (BBBS-FC) on Sunday, July 24, 2016, for a morning of cycling through the scenic hills of Franklin County.  With your $40 registration fee there are 3 rides to choose from and discounts are available for children who participate.  The event features a family friendly 10 mile ride in addition to 25 and 50 mile routes.  As usual, the event will begin and end on the campus of Northfield Mount Hermon School in Gill.

Due to a robust interest in the 2016 Historic Deerfield Winter Lecture Series, In Harm's Way: Conflict and Captivity Before the French and Indian War, the March 20th and April 24th talks will be moved to a new venue.  Both events will be held at Garonzik Auditorium, in the Koch Science Center, on the campus of Deerfield Academy.

8th Annual Handmade Valentine Swap

Once again, Hilltown Families is organizing a free Handmade Valentine Swap that is open to all families in western Massachusetts.  Last year, over 1,500 Valentines were exchanged and they're looking forward to having more families join in the fun this year!  Participants will mail out handmade Valentines to 10 assigned addresses and, in return, will receive handmade Valentines from 10 other participants.
