BFMC Chocolate Fantasy 2016

It’s red and white, with love all over! Delectable chocolate treats, love songs, beautiful raffle baskets, and Valentine-related crafts will all be found at Chocolate Fantasy 2016. BFMC volunteers and members of the Baystate Franklin Auxiliary (BFA) will hold their annual Chocolate Fantasy fundraiser on Friday, February 12th, from 9:30AM to 3:30PM, in the hospital’s main conference rooms.  This year's proceeds will support the hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Department and Mental Health Unit.

2 Greenfield Finalists in Baking Contest

Historic Deerfield is pleased to announce that Jeri Case and Carolyn Engle, both of Greenfield, are among the finalists in this year's Historic Deerfield King Arthur Flour Heritage Baking Recipe Contest, with their "Candy Cane Cookies" and "Raisin-Filled Cookies", respectively.  A great number of submissions were received for the contest, which asked amateur bakers to send in their best family holiday cookie recipe.  The winners will be chosen on Saturday, December 5th, during Heritage Baking Day at Historic Deerfield, by an esteemed panel of judges.

Music Barbecue Coming Up at Earthdance

If you have more apples than you know what to do with, why not bring them to the Montague Common Hall for Cider Making Day this Saturday, September 28th, at 10:00 AM?  This has been a splendid year for apples, and those people with apple trees have falls galore!  A local cider maker has agreed to bring his most excellent cider press to the common hall for this event, the public should bring their own apples and containers.
