It's Blooming Backpacks!

Roses for Mom, Help for Our Community

This Mother's Day, UPS is teaming up with the United Way for their annual Mother's Day Rose Sale!  As usual, your purchase of a dozen (or two!) roses for mom, a friend, yourself, or anyone who needs a smile will help support all of the great programs that the United Way of Franklin County has to offer.  In addition, thanks to UPS, each dozen roses you purchase will get you an entry in a drawing to win $100!

We Made Beautiful Music Together

Thank you to everyone who helped the Greenfield High School Music Parents Association (GHSMPA) raise $4,110 last night, during their annual telethon!  GHS band and chorus students, under the direction of conductor Maria Scotera, really appreciate what these funds are used for: uniform cleaning, transportation to performances, instrument repair, and much more.  Before the festivities got underway this year, we took a few "behind-the-scenes" pictures to share with you:

Show the Love for Kids

Adapted from a United Way of Franklin County press release:

Every child deserves to be carefree but, this year, more than 5,000 kids in our area will experience abuse and neglect and they need your help. In honor of Valentine's Day, the United Way of Franklin County is teaming up with United Way of Hampshire County & United Way of Pioneer Valley and asking you to #Showtheloveforkids during the whole month of February.  By texting the word HEART to 20222, you will donate $10 to local United Way programs that support kids in our region (message & data rates may apply).
