Grant Award – Child & Adolescent Mental Health Program

GCTV, in partnership with Garry L. Earles, LICSW, are proud to announce that they have been awarded a grant of $1,500.00 from the Brad Cohen Tourette Foundation of Roswell, Georgia to produce and distribute a DVD of a program on Tourette Syndrome (TS) and Associated Conditions.

New Features and Some Reminders

Monday night’s “Valley Homegrown” show got our week off to a rockin’ start!  The band Superkart entertained audiences in the studio and at home during their live broadcast.  Several volunteers mentioned that it was a really good show.  If you missed it, you can watch it here.

Local Producer's Nonprofit Holds Pool Tourney April 21, 2012

About a year and a half ago, Lorraine Kerz produced a documentary through GCTV about her son's battle with cancer.  She used footage that he filmed as he was undergoing treatment to raise awareness and money to help other young people dealing with this disease.

From a Sy's Fund press release:
On April 21, 2012, Q Pin2s Billiards in West Springfield, Massachusetts will be hosting the Sy’s Fund Second Annual Pool Tournament to help raise money for young adults with cancer.  Doors open at 11 a.m. and play starts at 12 p.m.  Entry fee is $25 and includes a buffet meal.  There will be $500 in prize money, as well as raffles and music with DJ Anthony Stokes from “Let’s Dance Entertainment.” For those who are not pool players but would like to come out for a good time and support the cause, the price for buffet is $10. Local businesses can contribute to fundraising efforts by sponsoring a table ad or donating goods or gift certificates to be raffled.

2012 Classic Greenfield Postcard Show
