Busy, Busy, Busy

True Community Television

Once again, we are happy to find ourselves in the middle of hosting, filming, and publicizing a variety of local events and organizations. The week began with a Greenfield Ways & Means Committee Meeting in our studio on Monday night. Representatives of the Greenfield Public Schools, Four Rivers Charter Public School, Smith Vocational & Technical School, & Greenfield Virtual School attended, answering committee questions about their respective budgets.

Ramping Up

We don’t have too much to say this week, as we are busy getting ready for all of the events we’ll be covering during the next few months. Massachusetts Primary Elections are less than one month away and they will take place on the same day as this year’s Franklin County Fair Parade. Before that, we’ll film the MA Department of Public Utilities (DPU) hearing on Berkshire Gas’ supply plan on the 30th of this month.

Thinking About Thanksgiving

We hope those of you who celebrated Thankgiving yesterday had a wonderful time but we recognize that the 4th Thursday in November does not hold the same meaning for everyone.  To that end, we put together two short videos exploring different aspects of the holiday and, if you haven't seen them yet, you can click on these links to watch them: It's Officially Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving:  Another Perspective.  In addition, if you're a local football fan, be sure to check our homepage later today to watch this year's Greenfie

Thanksgiving Traditions

It’s that time of year again!  On Thursday morning we’ll be recording the Greenfield High School vs.

Prep Work

Happy Thanksgiving!

Since we will be closed tomorrow and Friday for the holiday, we want to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a happy, healthy, safe, and grateful Thanksgiving.

Thinking about gratitude brings us to some good news about our broadcast server, which---as we mentioned in last week's post---we've been having some trouble with.  We found some bad files on it and cleared them out, which will keep our programming on the air as we explore replacement options.
