This meeting included a public hearing and vote to approve changes to a Greenfield ordinance, specifically to amend Chapter 0021 Assemblies/Mass Public.

This meeting included the appointment of Ashli Stempel to fill the vacant Precinct 8 seat until her elected term begins; appropriations of $103,800 from Contractual Agreement Stabilization to the Negotiated Salary Account line item for settlement of contracts, $50,000 from Water Enterprise Fund Retained Earnings to purchase land to protect our water supply, & $38,100 from Capital Stabilization to the Police Budget to fund vehicles; approval of the Fiscal Year 2016 tax rate; and several charter amendments.

Greenfield Town Council Meeting --- October 21, 2015

This meeting included many appointments, a vote on the appropriation of $250,000 from the Contractual Agreement Stabilization Fund to the Negotiated Salary Account line item for settlement of contracts, appropriation of $10,000,000 for a parking garage, and discussion about moving Greenfield Public Schools Administration out of their Davis Street building and rejection of a proposed appropriation of $90,000 for the costs of installing a heating system there recently.

Greenfield Town Council Meeting --- August 19, 2015

At this meeting, after a lengthy public comment period, the council appointed David Singer to fill the remainder of Dalton Athey's At Large term.  They then approved various appointments, an Economic Development Incentive Program (EDIP) & TIF agreement for Toyota of Greenfield, appropriating $1.4 million from general stabilization to stabilize the tax rate, a zoning amendment to allow a private club/membership organization (King's Gym) within the general industry zoning district, 3 non-binding ballot questions relating to plastic bans, a resolution in support of front-line mental health workers at Clinical Support Options (CSO), a lease agreement for 298 Federal Street to be used as a detox, and more.  Click the READ MORE>> link to watch the meeting.
