Last night, commissioners held a public hearing on emergency shelter and discussed the Anti-Stigma Campaign, Greenfield Pride Parade 2018, police body cameras, and the fact that May is National Mental Health Awareness Month, Foster Care Month, & Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

Greenfield Human Rights Commission Meeting --- April 9, 2018

On Monday night, commissioners held a public hearing on homelessness, discussed an invitation to attend the Greenfield Center for Wellness Grand Opening, and recognized April as National Autism Awareness Month, Child Abuse Awareness Month, Black Women's History Month, & Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month.

Public Hearing Monday on Heroin Crisis

The Greenfield Human Rights Commission (HRC) will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 9th, at 6PM, in the Greenfield Town Hall meeting room, on the heroin crisis in Greenfield and Franklin County, the efforts being made to solve it, and the recovery center being proposed by Behavioral Health Network (BHN) to be located at the former Lunt factory complex.

The Greenfield Human Rights Commission is currently seeking nominations of individuals and organizations for the 2015 Human Rights Award. Nomination forms may be picked up and dropped off at the mayor’s office in town hall during regular business hours or requested by emailing greenfieldhrc@gmail.com for a PDF version. The last date for nomination forms to be accepted is March 15th.

HRC To Hold Public Hearing On Fuel Assistance Crisis
