FRIDAY!---Help Hurricane Sandy Victims

"Love your neighbor as yourself"  Our neighbors in the CT, NY, and NJ area need our help.  With the direction of people that used to live on Long Island, we are going to fill a donated Fed-Ex truck with food, water, clothes, toiletries, diapers, and anything that you might need if you put yourself in their situation.  The Fed-Ex truck will be at Blessed Sacrament Church (221 Federal Street, Greenfield) from 4:00-5:00 PM on Friday 11/9.

Closing Early:  Mayor Martin announced this morning that, given the anticipated strengthening of Hurricane Sandy this afternoon, Greenfield town offices will close as of 3:00 p.m. today 10/29.

Canceled:  Monday night Second Helpings Meal at St. James Episcopal Church, Greenfield, Mon. 10/29.  The meal normally takes place at 5:30 pm.

Canceled:  Tonight’s Town Council Committee Chairs meeting has been cancelled 10/29.
