Fifth Drug Take Back A Success!

From a Northwestern District Attorney's Office press release:

The Office of Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan and partners collected 75 boxes for a total 1,847 pounds, or almost a ton, of unwanted drugs during Saturday’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, keeping them away from the wrong hands – and out of the environment.

Drug Take Back Day September 29, 2012

Each time the Office of Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan and partners, including the Franklin and Hampshire counties sheriffs’ departments, area Councils on Aging and others have sponsored a National Drug Take Back Days we’ve collected more unwanted drugs than the time before and disposed of them in a secure and environmentally-friendly way.

Domestic Violence: A View from the Bench

The Northwestern District Attorney’s Task Force on Domestic and Sexual Violence, and the Franklin County Bar Association, Present "Domestic Violence:  A View from the Bench".  An opportunity for the public to meet judges in the  community who will participate in a panel discussion on restraining orders and domestic abuse, moderated by Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan.  Thursday, June 7, 2:30-4 p.m.  Franklin County Courthouse, Probate Courtroom. ***Update 6/6/12---This event has been moved from the probate courtroom to the Grand Jury Room on the third floor.***

April 2012 Drug Take Back Most Successful Yet

The Office of Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan and partners collected more than 1.5 tons of unwanted drugs during the April 28 National Prescription Drug Take Back Day making it the most successful Take Back Day yet in the Northwestern District.

3rd Prescription Drug Take Back Results Released

More than one ton of unwanted prescription drugs was collected in the Northwestern District on Oct. 29, 2011, during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Working together, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), local police, seniors, and other partners exceeded the amount collected during the 2nd National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 30, 2011, despite the surprise October snowstorm.
