Meet the Candidates April 14th

All three Republican candidates running for US Senate, in the primary on April 30th, will be on hand for a meet & greet in Orange on Sunday, April 14th, between 3pm and 5pm.  The event will be hosted by the Orange Republican Town Committee and will be held at the Orange American Legion, Daniel Shays Highway (Route 202), in Orange.

Absentee Ballots Available for 4/30/13 Election

Absentee Ballots are available for the Election which will be held April 30, 2013. Voters are reminded the last day and time to apply for an absentee ballot for this election is no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, April 29th, 2013. Voters may vote at the Town Clerk's Office until that date and time or may request an absentee ballot by mail. Requests for Absentee Ballots by mail should be submitted well in advance of the Election date.

Weekly Wrap-up

Well, the election is over but, though we are happy to be moving on, there are a few last things about it we want to share with you.  We were very pleased to see an almost 73% turnout in Greenfield on Election Day.  We would still prefer to get to 100% but it was nice to see a distinct lack of apathy this time around.

The Town Council extends an invitation to all interested members of the public to attend the Ways and Means Committee meeting on November 14, 2012, 6:00 pm at GCTV-15, 393 Main Street.  Vice-President Wisnewski will be making a PowerPoint Presentation proposing a Split Tax Rate for the Town of Greenfield.

Don't Forget, Voter Registration Deadline 10/17/12

The Greenfield Town Clerk advises residents that the last day to register to vote or change their address for the November 6, 2012 State/Presidential Election will be Wednesday, October 17, 2012.  The Town Clerk’s Office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on that date.

Boy, Are We Tired!

Whew!  Now that we can take a breather to look back over yesterday, we’d like to share a few thoughts with you about our coverage of the Franklin County Fair Parade and Massachusetts’ Primary Elections.

Looking Forward To A Busy Thursday

As we’ve pointed out before, Thursday, September 6th, will be Primary Elections Day in Massachusetts in addition to being the kickoff for the Franklin County Fair.  We will be very busy that day making sure you get the most out of both events.
