Live, Local, Music

If you haven’t tuned in to “Valley Homegrown” lately, you don’t know what you’re missing!  The show has been on, in various incarnations, since 1997 and many musicians featured on the program are well known today; The Nields and Ray Mason spring immediately to mind, as does Naia Kete.  In fact, of the nineteen winners in this year’s Valley Advocate Grand Band Slam, seven have done live performances in our studio.

Film Fest Call for Entries

From a Pioneer Valley Transition Towns Film Festival press release:

The Pioneer Valley Transition Towns Film Festival, scheduled for October 19th at Greenfield Community College’s Sloan Theatre, is requesting submissions of locally made films about building community resilience in an uncertain future. Any resident, or group of residents, of any age, in the Pioneer Valley community can submit a film for the festival. There will be competitive and non-competitive categories, with prizes awarded in the competitive category, and all of the films submitted will be aired on public access television.
