Veterans Day 2012

From a Greenfield Veterans Services press release & a Friendly's press release:

*All are invited to the Greenfield Veteran’s Day Parade on Monday, November 12, 2012 as well as to the services afterward in the Veterans’ Mall on Main Street.  The Town is hosting the parade on the observed holiday as opposed to Sunday the 11th in order to avoid conflicting with church services taking place along the parade route.  The parade will form in the Middle School parking lot at 9:30 a.m., and will start at 10 a.m.  Transportation will be provided to veterans as needed.

*In the spirit of Veteran’s Day celebrations on November 12, Friendly’'s restaurants located in the Greenfield area invite active members of the military and military veterans to come in and enjoy a complimentary Big-Two-Do Breakfast and coffee until 11:00 am –as a thank-you for their service.

Greenfield to Honor Veterans Tomorrow
