In this session, "Discipline, Delinquency, and the School-to-Prison Pipeline", Tommy Arsenault covers the similarities between public schools and prisons in America and the increasing contact between schools, juvenile justice, and adult criminal justice. The speaker also discusses why the school-to-prison pipeline disproportionately affects Black and Latino people and how delinquency might be part of the solution in regards to dismantling white supremacy in our schools and justice system.

Walking the Talk for Racial Justice --- Organizing People of Color

This workshop, moderated by Shela Linton and titled, "Organizing People of Color in White Rural New England", explores the experiences of people of color organizers in white rural New England as well as what tactics, visions, and goals may be different or necessary for people of color.  In addition, it looks at making multi-racial organizing truly accountable to the communities it intends to support. The event was part of a youth conference held Saturday at Greenfield Community College.
