Thinking About Thanksgiving

Deflate-Gate woes aren't putting a damper on eager New England Patriots fans who want to go to the Super Bowl. As the Pats gear up for Super Bowl XLIX, and their eighth appearance at the big show, the Better Business Bureau is warning fans to be careful.

Girls Can in Western Massachusetts

FC Massachusetts, a regional premier soccer club based out of western Massachusetts, yesterday announced open registration for a year-long mentoring and training program provided by a partnership with the University of Massachusetts and the Girls Can Club. Girls aged seven through twelve are eligible to register for the Girls Can Club that includes workshops, skills training, and the unique opportunity to be mentored by a current UMass women's soccer player. Additionally, all registered participants will receive a season pass to the University of Massachusetts regular season home games and a club t-shirt. The UMass Girls Can Club registration is limited to 100 girls with a schedule of events beginning in September 2013 and concluding in April 2014.
