Our offices and studios will be closed on Monday, February 2, 2015, due to the snowstorm.  We'll re-open at  10AM on Tuesday, Febrary 3rd.

Emergency Winter Parking Ban in Effect

Adapted from several Greenfield Department of Public Works press releases:

An emergency winter parking ban, prohibiting parking on BOTH sides of all residential streets, is in effect from 1AM Monday, 2/2/15, through 6AM on Tuesday, 2/3/15.  No overnight parking is allowed in town lots, except in designated areas of the Chapman/Davis Street lot and a section of the Hope Street lot.  THE TOWN WILL HAVE ALL VEHICLES IN VIOLATION OF THE PARKING BAN TOWED AT THE OWNERS' EXPENSE.

An emergency winter parking ban, prohibiting parking on BOTH sides of all residential streets, is in effect from 9AM Thursday, 2/13/14, through Noon on Friday, 2/14/14.

Emergency Winter Parking Ban Starts at 4AM

An emergency winter parking ban, prohibiting parking on BOTH sides of all residential streets, is in effect from 4AM Wednesday, 2/5/14, through 6AM Thursday, 2/6/14.

Winter Parking Ban in Effect

An emergency winter parking ban, prohibiting parking on BOTH sides of all residential streets, is in effect from 7AM Thursday, 1/2/14, through 3PM Friday, 1/3/14.  This emergency winter parking ban is being implemented for public safety due to a large predicted snowfall amount.  In addition, property owners that abut public sidewalks are reminded that they are responsible for removal of snow from sidewalks within 24 hours after the end of the snowfall as set forth in town ordinance 159-16.

Greenfield Announces CodeRED Test Call

Mayor William F. Martin announced that the first community-wide testing of Greenfield’s new emergency notification system, CodeRED, would commence this evening to all residents and businesses currently registered in the system.

Greenfield Grabs CodeRED Call System

From a Greenfield Mayor's Office press release:

Mayor William Martin announced that the City of Greenfield has contracted with Emergency Communications Network to license its CodeRED high-speed notification system effective immediately. “Hopefully we will not need to utilize the reverse call system now and at least not until everyone has had a chance to get their numbers and addresses into it.”
