Before our elected officials got into their agenda last night, student councilors took center stage to debate the Fiscal Year 2019 Proposed Operating Budget line item for School Resource Officers (SROs).  Afterwards, the full council took up charter amendments, appropriations, marijuana zoning, and more.

At last night's meeting, our local officials welcomed, and then swore in, student councilors as part of the Greenfield High School Student Shadowing Program.

At last night's sometimes jovial, sometimes very serious meeting, new councilors were welcomed, the public weighed in on privatization of services and government spending, and councilors discussed appropriating additional money for the parking garage project and property revaluations.
