After a rough weather week, Bobby C. is back to talk about how all of the recent game cancellations will impact various spring season schedules.
Last week, Franklin Regional Council of Governments members listened to special presentations about an "Initiative to Change Prevailing Wage Law" and the "Cool (and Useful) GIS Work Being Done by the FRCOG".
At Wednesday night's meeting, after much public comment, our local officials voted on several appointments to various city committees, as well as the mayor's proposed Fiscal Year 2019 Capital Budget.
At this Fiscal Year 2019 Operating Budget Meeting, Greenfield Police Chief Haigh answered questions about his budget as councilors looked at the allocations for all public safety departments.
At last night's meeting, several Grinspoon Award-winning teachers were recognized, Greenfield Police Chief Haigh (pictured) spoke about School Resource Officers (SROs), and there was much budget discussion.
On Monday night, commissioners held a public hearing on homelessness, discussed an invitation to attend the Greenfield Center for Wellness Grand Opening, and recognized April as National Autism Awareness Month, Child Abuse Awareness Month, Black Women's History Month, & Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month.
