The Money Doctor --- Poet Dan Chelotti

#39 --- Recorded October 24, 2013

Local poet, and Elms College professor, Dan Chelotti discusses what inspired many of the poems in his new book “X.”  His poems are modern, real life experiences packed with a punch you might not expect to find in poetry.  Tune in to meet this interesting, funny, modest, and intriguing young poet, and find out why his is one of only four books of poetry published by McSweeney’s to date.  You’ll be wondering what makes this guy tick as he reads from one of Dr. Rahaim’s favorite poems, “Annual Percentage Rate”, and others like “Dead Guy Pants” and “The Life of the Party”.
