Author Joyce Maynard Returns to Area for Reading

Adapted from a Boswell's Books press release:

At 6:30PM on August 22nd, novelist Joyce Maynard will return to our area for a free reading at the Arms Library in Shelburne Falls.  She'll be sharing excerpts from her brand new book, "After Her", which she describes as part thriller and part love story.  It was inspired by the real-life Trailside Killings which took place in California very near to where she lives.

Ms. Maynard is fascinating and vivacious—as fantastic a storyteller in-person as she is in print. As with last year's reading from her novel "Labor Day", she will probably share some of the experiences that inspired her to write this story. Copies of "Labor Day" will be available, as well as her new book and other works.  Again, this event is free and open to all.

The Arms Library is located at 50 Bridge Street (at the Corner of Main & Bridge Streets) in Shelburne Falls.
