Act Now! Kitten Kaboodle Adoption Event at Dakin

Adapted from a Dakin Humane Society press release:

Summer is the busiest time of the year at humane societies, due to the number of animals received and birthing season for kittens.  Dakin is overloaded with kittens right meow and more are arriving daily.  In an effort to promote kitten adoptions, and save lives, Kitten Kaboodle will offer specially reduced adoption fees for all kittens under six months old.  From Tuesday, July 30, through Sunday, August 4, 2013, kittens at Dakin adoption centers in Leverett and Springfield can go home for $125 (regularly $250) or $200 for a pair.

Adopting a homeless cat or kitten not only helps save lives, adopters also receive a full package of veterinary services to get their newest family member off to the best possible start.  All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, age appropriate vaccinations, feline leukemia test, identification collar and tag, and a starter kit of food.  In other words…the whole Kitten Kaboodle!

Adoption centers in Leverett (163 Montague Road) and Springfield (171 Union Street) open daily at 12 noon.
