What's New at The Salasin Center?

The Salasin Center, which encompasses the Greenfield Women's Resource Center (GWRC) and the Family United Network (FUN), has altered its program schedule for 2014.  The biggest difference is that open hours for the GWRC have changed and extended so that they are now Mondays from 3pm to 5pm and Fridays from 12pm to 3pm.  In addition, the Wednesday GWRC Art group has moved to Mondays, from 1pm to 3pm, and Journey Dance on Tuesday evenings has a new start time, so that it now runs from 5pm to 6:30pm.

About Journey Dance
Journey Dance™ is a free class that moves people through deep personal exploration into a loving, intimate relationship with body, mind, and source energy.  It's a transformational experience that does not require any previous movement or dance experience.  There is no sign up and attending every week is not required.  Please wear loose comfortable clothing when you show up.  The RPX (Recover Project Annex) is located at 1 Osgood Street in Greenfield.  For questions call Lorena Norwood at (413) 774-4307 x1 or email her at

About The Salasin Center
The Salasin Center (Greenfield Women's Resource Center) is a place for women to build community, support each other, and heal and empower themselves.  Open/drop-in hours are Mondays from 3-5pm and Fridays from 12-3pm.  The Salisin Center also offers a women’s clothing exchange, access to computers & the internet, and a resource library, as well as other information & referral supports.  The Salasin Project is a program of The Consortium and is funded by the Department of Children and Families.  It is located at 474 Main Street in Greenfield.  For more information on programs & support groups, please call (413) 774-4307 x4, email, or visit
