Don't Forget! Supper for Six Next Week

Adapted from a United Way of Franklin County press release:

On Tuesday, February 9th, from 5:30PM to 7PM, in Stoneleigh-Burnham School's Capen Room, the United Way of Franklin County will be collecting grocery bags of food; each filled with enough non-perishable items to make dinner for a family of 6.  All the bags will be distributed to families in need in Franklin County during school vacation week, February 15th through 19th.  Last year over 300 bags, weighing in at nearly 5,000 pounds, were collected!

This year, donors are welcome to add breakfast and/or lunch food as well.  If you need ideas to help fill your bag, click here.   Refreshments will be served at the collection and reservations are requested.  This event is also a fundraiser for the United Way so there is a $5 entry fee.

If you can't make the event, but would still like to help, please drop off your "Supper for Six" bag(s) at the United Way of Franklin County office (51 Davis Street in Greenfield) before February 9th.

Stoneleigh-Burnham School is located at 574 Bernardston Road in Greenfield.  Reservations may be made by email or by calling (413) 772-2168.  More information is available on the United Way's Facebook page.
