Salasin Project to Host Open House

The Salasin Project invites you to take a tour of their comfortable facility, meet the staff & Salasin Council, and learn about various supports & programs they offer, on Friday, January 22nd, from 3PM to 7PM.  Special guest Robin Lane from Songbird Sings will be present to celebrate the release of the latest A Woman’s Voice CD that was created in collaboration with The Salasin Project.

The Salasin Project is located at 474 Main Street in Greenfield and the snow date for this event will be January 29th.  A Woman’s Voice CDs are currently for sale at The Salasin Project and will be available to purchase at the Open House.  For more information about the event, please email Stacey Langknecht or call her at 774-4307 x4.


About The Salasin Center
The Salasin Center's Greenfield Women's Resource Center is a place for women to build community, support each other, and heal and empower themselves.  Open/drop-in hours are Mondays from 3-5pm and Fridays from 12-3pm.  The Salasin Center also offers a women’s clothing exchange, access to computers & the internet, and a resource library, as well as other information & referral supports.

The Salasin Center's Family United Network FUN Center provides juice & snacks, fun activities for families, arts & music, a lending library, computer lab/free WiFi, a free clothing closet for both grown ups & children, and local resource information.

The Salasin Project is a program of The Consortium and is funded by the Department of Children and Families.  It is located at 474 Main Street in Greenfield.  For more information on programs & support groups, please visit
