Educational Opportunities from Piti Theatre

This spring, Jonathan Mirin, Artistic Director of Piti Theatre Company, and his wife, Godeliève Richard, will be leading classes in both writing and carving to help people connect with their creative side.

Soapstone Carving
Mondays, April 4th through June 13th (no class during school vacation), from 4:30PM to 5:30PM
280 Colrain-Shelburne Road in Shelburne
$100, plus materials fee (financial aid available)

This is an outdoor, meditative, activity where participants slowly shape stones into the form of their choice.  Class leader Godeliève Richard designs Piti Theatre’s productions and began teaching soapstone in 2003, at Creative Arts at Park in Brookline, MA, and later in the Buckland-Shelburne Elementary after-school program.  This class is geared for people ages 6 and up, including adults!  To register, please email info@ptco.org.

Write That Thing
Thursdays, March 31st and April 21st, from 5:30PM to 7PM
Green Fields Market Meeting Room (2nd Floor), 144 Main Street in Greenfield
Free for Franklin Community CO-OP members, $15 for non-members

“Write That Thing” is a supportive, fun, workshop designed to help participants develop their writing projects while learning new approaches.  All levels and genres are welcome.  Workshop leader Jonathan Mirin began coaching writers in 1999 and is Artistic Director of Piti Theatre Company.  To register, please call (413) 625-6569 or email jonathan@ptco.org.
