Nobody Can Deny

Some of you may have noticed videos not playing on our website yesterday evening, or saw one of our announcements or social media posts about technical difficulties. Thankfully, everything is working just fine now but we thought you might want to know what happened. It turns out that our Video on Demand provider was experiencing a Denial of Service (DOS) attack. Its websites, along with those of Netflix and other companies, were being inundated with connections from malicious computers, so that when you tried to access our videos (or when we tried to contact Telvue’s technical support) there was no bandwidth left to process the request. You can imagine that we weren’t happy discovering this problem 2 hours before our live broadcast of the Greenfield Town Councilor At-Large Candidates Debate. Fortunately for us, we’ve been using YouTube to livestream events like this and its website was not affected.

In other news, we encourage you to come downtown tonight and tomorrow night to check out this year’s Double Take Fringe Festival. Our studio will host I'm Herbert, directed by Chris Rohmann, at 7PM and 9PM both nights. From Double Take’s website: “In Robert Anderson's funny, sweet one-act, an old - very old - married couple have trouble even remembering each other's names. In their rockers (but not quite off them) they reminisce about the past, arguing over their hilariously unreliable versions of it.”  We're excited to see this theater extravaganza return for a 3rd year and hope you will be impressed by the talent as you enjoy every minute of it.
