WE'RE HIRING AN OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR!

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Office Administrator assists GCTV staff in maintaining files and databases, as well as scheduling appointments and trainings.  The Office Administrator assists the Executive Director in preparing reports, presentations, memorandums, and proposals for internal and external communication.  In addition, the Office Administrator performs other duties as assigned in support of GCTV’s mission.

Salary:  $12-15/hour; 20 hours per week

Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 2pm to 6pm, occasional nights and weekends

Responsibilities:

*Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with GCTV policies and procedures under the Executive Director’s guidance
*Manage general phone calls, inquiries, and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, deliveries, volunteer correspondence, etc.)
*Create and update records and databases for equipment usage, appointment requests, studio scheduling, and monthly reports utilizing Google G Suite
*Create and monitor inventory of office supplies and equipment; submit office supply requests to the Executive Director
*Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
*Assist colleagues whenever necessary
*Maintain the clipping book (of newspaper articles mentioning GCTV)
*Other office duties as assigned
*Occasional weekends and evenings

Requirements:

*Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or other relevant role
*Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
*Excellent organizational skills
*Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
*Excellent knowledge of G Suite products and Microsoft Office products, and excellent computer skills
*High school diploma - AA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
*MA Driver’s License and reliable transportation
*Ability to handle multi-line phone system
*Qualifications in office administration studies will be an advantage
