Testify the importance of GCTV to the city Sept. 23!
PLEASE COME WE NEED YOUR VOICE
Join us on Wednesday, September 23, at 5:30 PM at Greenfield City Hall for an important public forum. The City of Greenfield is in the process of negotiating a new contract with Comcast, the current cable service provider, permitting them to operate in Greenfield. This forum is part of the official ascertainment process, which gathers public input to help determine what the community wants from the contract.
There is also a survey you can fill out as well linked HERE.
WHY THIS MATTERS
This forum is critical to the future of Greenfield Community Television. The funding for our organization over the next decade is directly tied to this process. The decisions made will impact our ability to survive and continue serving as a vital community resource.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We need your voice! Please attend the forum on September 23 and share your thoughts about the value of GCTV. During the public comment session, you can:
Share personal experiences with GCTV.
Reflect on the role we play in the community.
Emphasize our importance and the need for continued financial support.
One key point we ask you to mention is the necessity of maintaining the full 5% operational funding, which is the maximum we can receive from Comcast’s TV revenues in Greenfield. This level of funding is essential to sustain our staff, services, and overall operations.
If you are unable to attend in person, you can participate remotely via Zoom:
